Out of Ordinary Space exists because I spent 15 years running and turning around supported living services, and most compliance support I saw was written by people who'd never sat in the manager's chair when the inspector called.
I've worked across operations and compliance roles in supported living for over 15 years — including leading services through genuine turnarounds, from Requires Improvement ratings back to Good. That's not a case study I read about; it's work I did, site by site, evidence file by evidence file.
Out of Ordinary Space is what I built once I'd seen the same problem repeat itself across enough organisations: compliance evidence that exists somewhere, scattered across shared drives and spreadsheets, but isn't assembled into anything an inspector — or a leadership team — can actually use before it's too late.
I work remotely, and deliberately keep client intake small — a maximum of three retained clients at any time — so the work stays close to the detail instead of stretched thin across a portfolio.
